About the Event
Exit 6 Film Festival returns for a 7th edition, screening 45 short films from around the world in Basingstoke.
This is a hybrid online and phsyical event. In the week prior to the physical event, our online viewing platorm will open for ticket holders, where they can view the films and take part in the virtual events. The week-long online programme goes live at exit6filmfestival.com on Saturday 17 September, with the big finish to the week coming on Saturday 24 September, as we celebrate these remarkable films on the big screen at Vue in Festival Place.
We'll also be celebrating with the filmmakers and film fans alike, throughout the day and night, at our Royal Exchange festival hub and other local hospitality venues.
Our much loved Awards Party will commence after the day time screenings, and there we will announce the winners of our Audience Choice award, as well as awards for Best Editing, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Performance and Best Film.

Age restriction: please note that Exit 6 Film Festival 2022 is age rated 18+ (all films have been certified by Basingstoke Council) Please bring identifcation with you.
