The Awards
There are 6 awards up for grabs each year.
6 nominees are selected in 5 categories by the Exit 6 selection panel, before the winner is selected by a guest judge.
Only the films chosen to be in the Judge's 6 are in competition for Best Film, while films from the entire official selection can be nominated for a category award.
The Audience Choice award is voted for by our audience.

We're delighted to welcome a host of fantastic industry guests to select this year's award winners.
The Trophies
The instantly recognisable Exit 6 Awards are custom made by UK awards manufacturer Gaudio Awards. The all-acrylic trophy perfectly reflects the modern, colourful branding of the Exit 6 Film Festival. The trophy was created by head of design, Stuart Sharples, in 2021 as a refresh of an earlier trophy. “The clear acrylic gives a modern, clean look and allows the bold branding to take centre stage. The way the profile of the logo sits in the hand is perfect and looks great in photos.”
