VISITING EXIT 6
Exit 6 Film Festival takes place annually in Basingstoke, Hampshire (about 40 mins outside of London by train). Just off the M3 at... exit 6!
The festival is easy to get to by road, rail, air and sea! When you arrive head to Vue Festival Place, where you'll be registered and given your passes to the screenings.
From the ring road or Junction 6 of the M3, follow signs for Town Centre. The best parking for Vue cinema is either Festival Place multi storey (RG21 7PW) or Central Car Park (RG21 7LX).
Basingstoke is on the London Waterloo line; 45-60 mins from Waterloo, 30-35 mins from Southampton Central. The last train to Waterloo departs at 23:44. Trains to Southampton Central run until after midnight, except on Sundays when the last train departs at 23:48. We are aware there may be a rail-replacement service between Basingstoke and Woking on the weekend of the 2022 event.
The nearest international airport to Basingstoke is Southampton Airport. However the main airports are Heathrow and Gatwick which are just outside London. Once you have landed, you can take a train to central London making your way towards London Waterloo. Once there, there is a frequent direct train to Basingstoke.
We aren't really sure about this one. Maybe get in touch with the team if you're thinking of testing out your sea legs to get to Exit 6.
