At Exit 6 we want to showcase the best short films and music videos from all genres and corners of the globe.
We are open to work of any genre, but our main rule for submission is that films be no more than 15-minutes in run time.
As we love to put our filmmakers front and centre, a representative of each selected film will be invited to take part in a short Q&A about the making of the piece after it screens (however, attendance is not a condition of selection). Those unable to attend are welcome to send a short video message to be played to the audience.
For an idea of what you can expect from Exit 6, check out the highlights video from our 2019 festival below.

The Exit 6 judging team will select their favourite films for the festival programme, including the best 6 films reserved for screening at the main event in the evening.
If a short film is chosen to be screened at any of the events of the festival then the filmmakers will enjoy the recognition of Exit 6 Film Festival laurels.
All films in the official selection will be in contention for the Audience Choice Award, while the 6 entries chosen by our selection panel for the Judge's 6 are in with a chance of winning Best Film. Audiences will vote for the Most Popular film of the festival while our guest judge(s) will select Best Film.
We are excited to add 4 more awards to this year's festival - Best Cinematography, Best Performance, Best Screenplay and Best Editing. 6 films from across the whole official selection will be nominated by our selection panel, with the winner chosen by a guest judge.
The winner of the Best Film award will be announced at the Festival whilst the Audience Choice Award will be announced at the post-screening party where live music and cocktails lie in wait.
"Basically faultless and massively entertaining and hospitable. One of the best experience I've had screening my films. They care deeply about the film and filmmaker, and as filmmakers themselves, they know how hard it all is. I will be back!" - Oliver Park
"One of the best festivals I've attended. The quality of the selection, the screenings and the venues was top class. Very interactive, and well contained, so all venues are close enough to walk. Highly recommended!" - A Tarrush
"Fantastic festival run by people who clearly care about films and the people who make them." - Stuart Duffy
