About the Event
Exit 6 Film Festival returns for a 6th edition, screening 43 short films from around the world in our first hybrid event - online and in person.
The week-long online programme goes live at exit6filmfestival.com on Saturday 18 September, with the big finish to the week coming on Saturday 25 September, as we celebrate these remarkable films on the big screen at Vue in Festival Place.
And we'll also be celebrating with the filmmakers and film fans alike, throughout the day and night, at our Royal Exchange festival hub and other local hospitality venues.
Industry talks on the day will include chats with Genera Films (short film funding and showcasing), Festival Formula (festival strategists), Greenlit (crowdfunding platform), and Performance Insurance (the short filmmaker's best friend).
And at the Judge's 6 screening in the evening, we will announce the winner of our Audience Choice award, as well as awards for Best Editing, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Performance and Best Film.

Age restriction: please note that all films have been certified by Basingstoke Council. Blocks 1-4 are age rated 15 and block 5-6 are 18+. Please bring identifcation with you.
